Brian Crider is the Director of Practice Technology for Theodora Oringher Miller & Richman PC, a premier California business transaction and litigation law firm with offices in Los Angeles and Orange County. The addition of Brian's 15 years of litigation and transactional practice technology experience to the Firm's senior management team in March 2006 was a milestone, which distinguishes our firm from other law firms who practice business litigation and transactional law. By providing tailored systems consulting services to our lawyers, clients and co-counsel, Brian addresses the unique information management challenges facing the practice of law.
In today's business and legal world, increasingly the legal services process is becoming more electronic. Our firm's use of technology in the management of these services translates directly into cost savings to the client.
Brian manages all aspects of practice technology supporting our litigators in the discovery/trial preparation processes, and our transactional attorneys in the due diligence required on deals. For example, when thousands of emails are mined from client facilities, they need to be quickly and efficiently reviewed, organized and assessed. When a potential buyer of a business needs to see all relevant financials and other pertinent documents, Brian creates an online, secure and collaborative virtual data room to manage the transaction. In addition, he works closely with the Firm's Information Technology Director to insure that coordinated, efficient and cost effective services are delivered to the Firm's lawyers and its clients.
Prior to joining the Firm, Brian spent five years as the National Manager of Litigation Support for Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP.
Brian is a graduate of the University of Washington where he was a member of the 1988 PAC-10 Championship golf team.
